Important: Mandatory Orientation Classes for Agents

Dear BBF Broker and New Agents,

Welcome! I hope this message finds you well. Please find below the instructions for the upcoming New Agent Orientation sessions for the Business Brokers of Florida association.

If you are the managing broker in your office, please ensure that all of your agents are registered for the mandatory BBF Orientation classes. Attendance is required to maintain active status, and it is essential that all agents complete the courses per BBF Bylaw requirements.

Step 1: Class Preparation

Please download and review all required class handouts in advance from the following link and have them available during the sessions:

Step 2: Class Registration

These courses are mandatory, and agents must register for BOTH orientation sessions.

Course 1: BBF Co-Brokering and MLS Rules

Course 2: BBF Forms Orientation

After registering, agents will receive an email confirmation with details on how to join the Zoom meetings.

Important Reminders

1. Brokers are responsible for ensuring that each agent registers and completes both orientations.
2. Agents must have their cameras on and be visible throughout the sessions to receive credit.
3. Agents should log into Zoom early to check for any necessary updates. Support will be available during the sessions for troubleshooting.

Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in the agent needing to retake part or all of the orientation.

Step 3: MLS Training

Once both orientation sessions are completed, agents should contact Flo Jacobsen at flo@bbms.biz or 727-232-0609 to schedule important one-on-one training on the MLS system, including how to add listings, search the solds database, add buyers, and more.

New Offices
If you are the qualifying broker of a new office; please call BBF administration to complete registration the following business day after the second day of orientation 863-655-3085.
