In 2019 the OCC held more than 200 events, supporting over 25,600 jobs and positively affecting 1,000 businesses. Year after year it is the number one family vacation destination, even setting a record of 75 million annual visitors in 2018.
This is extremely significant to the thousands of service industry related businesses including restaurants, entertainment, hotels and their supporting business that could be considered the life blood of our economy. The city of Orlando
Is the county seat of Orange County, Florida.
According to the 2019 census, the city population was 287,442. It is also the principal city of Greater Orlando. The Orlando-Kissimmee MSA is Florida’s third-largest metropolitan area, behind Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach and Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater. Orlando is also home to the University of Central Florida, which is the second largest university in Florida and has the 6th largest campus in the nation.
