Richard Ceballos

Richard Ceballos is a business broker with Sunbelt Business Brokers of South Florida, specializing in the sale of privately held businesses in the $500K to $10M range across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach County.

Richard brings an institutional finance background that is uncommon in the business brokerage market. Prior to joining Sunbelt, he spent over a decade in investment banking and corporate development, including Debt Capital Markets at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, M&A investment banking at Credit Suisse, and senior corporate development roles at NextEra Energy and Ascend Performance Materials. Across those positions he originated and executed more than 20 transactions totaling over $3 billion in enterprise value as an investment banker and in-house deal executive.

That transactional depth informs how Richard approaches every engagement, from building defensible valuations and positioning businesses for market to managing buyer due diligence, lender requirements, and negotiations through close. He is equally comfortable working alongside co-brokers on both sides of a transaction.

Richard holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Miami and an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. He is based in Fort Lauderdale.
