Mayelin Stevenson

Mayelin Stevenson is the founder of South Florida Business Attorney PLLC, a transactional law firm based in Fort Lauderdale serving business owners throughout Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties and all of Florida remotely. Her practice focuses on business law matters, including contract drafting and review, due diligence, deal structuring, business formation, and outside general counsel work for closely held companies.

She regularly works with parties on both sides of business acquisitions and sales — asset and entity transactions alike — and coordinates with business brokers, CPAs, and lenders throughout a deal's lifecycle. She holds a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University and a civil law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, and is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing her to work directly with South Florida's Hispanic business community in their preferred language.
