Matthew J. Fitzgibbon

Matt FitzGibbon is a principal in FitzGibbon Alexander, Inc., a business intermediary and valuation firm and the Managing Partner of several closely held private equity groups. Over the past 30 years he has participated in over one billion dollars of main street and middle market transactions as a partner, investor, or broker.

Mr. FitzGibbon is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in the business valuation discipline of the American Society of Appraisers, a Lifetime CBI in the International Business Brokers Association, a Board Certified Intermediary (BCI) in the Business Brokers of Florida, is a Licensed Florida Real Estate Broker and has an MBA. He is also the author of The Business Owner’s Quick and Simple Guide to Understanding Business Valuation.

What might be more interesting is that he served for a decade on a volunteer K-9 Search and Rescue team where he handled his own nationally certified Human Remains Detection (HRD) German Shepherd cadaver dog, Vesper. He can often be found at his kennel taking an interest in the training of working dogs.
